Listening to our users’ valuable feedback and recognizing the importance of seamless navigation, we have thoughtfully merged our previously separated dApps, Horizon Genesis and Horizon Exchange, into a single cohesive derivatives-synthetic assets powerhouse. Our V2 unified design ensures an intuitive and user-friendly interface that makes your interactions smoother and more enjoyable.
On top of that, we have eased the onboarding experience for new users by adjusting key pages. These pages now provide guidance to users who are not yet connected to their wallets, helping them navigate the process of acquiring HZN, along with clear explanations on how C-Ratio and rewards function.

New Features & Integrations
- Smooth Swapping:
On the top right corner of the new interface, you’ll find an HZN token price tracker. With just a click, users can now take advantage of the internal bridge powered by Socket.tech to smoothly swap their assets for HZN directly across a wide variety of networks. This streamlined process allows for quick and efficient exchanges, giving you more control over your funds, all without having to leave the Horizon Protocol website. With everything conveniently in one place, managing your assets has never been easier.
- Portfolio Hedging:
With the introduction of our newly developed interface, hedging your portfolio has become a lot more accessible. Now, you can easily compare your personal portfolio against the global portfolio. Suggested hedge samples help you maintain a healthy ratio and thus minimizing risks. With this new feature, maintaining your C-Ratio has never been simpler.
- Revamped Homepage:
The first thing you will notice is the latest addition to our platform — the ‘Dashboard.’ This revamped home page provides you with a comprehensive overview of what Horizon Protocol V2 has to offer. Get a quick snapshot of your zAsset portfolio, staking status, including C-Ratio and claimable rewards, and the upcoming rewards period. Explore the various possibilities with your zAssets, such as trading synthetic assets, staking for liquidity, and exploring various samples for how to hedge your debt. Additionally, the ‘Dashboard’ gives you insights into a subset of zAssets currently traded on our platform and the latest updates through Horizon Blog.
- New Account Page:
We have also added a new page named ‘Account’, which offers you a comprehensive overview of your zAsset portfolio. It includes your account summary, zAsset allocation, options to hedge your debt by mirroring the global portfolio, and provides easy access to your debt history and portfolio performance across various timeframes. Explore the full range of functionalities on this page and enjoy a more holistic view of your financial status.
- Expanded Wallet Options
Additionally, we have incorporated various new wallet options in response to the feedback from our community. Currently, you have the option to use WalletConnect and Coinbase Wallet for added ease and flexibility. As we remain committed to meeting your requirements, we are open to adding more options in the future. Beta Version for Desktop
To ensure an optimal experience, the V2 unified design is initially available exclusively for PC and laptop users. This focus allows us to refine the desktop version, ensuring that all functionalities perform optimally before expanding to other platforms. Your feedback during the beta phase will play a crucial role in shaping the development and eventual rollout of the mobile version.
